Our Vital Signs® reports provide a snapshot of quality of life trends in communities throughout Nova Scotia, highlighting progress we should be proud of and challenges that need to be addressed.
Our 2013 line-up includes two complete updates of past reports (Wolfville and Lunenburg County) and a first look at the second largest municipality in Nova Scotia – the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Information included in these reports is compiled from current statistics and special studies which look at twelve different, yet interconnected, issue areas that are critical to well-being. Areas covered include: Getting Started, the Economy, Getting Around, Learning, Housing, Health and Wellness, Arts & Culture, the Environment, Safety, Shared Prosperity, Youth, and our Sense of Belonging.
This year's reports will be launched on Tuesday, October 1st and will include a presentation of key points and guest speakers who will reflect on the findings. We hope you will join us at a launch nearest you. For more information call us at 1-877-999-5907 or email us at
